Hello everyone, another quick update to let you know that the pledge manager has been approved by Backerkit, so we've sent the first smoke test. This means that a few of you have already received the survey (and completed it, for what we've seen!). Those of you who have, please reach out to us if you ran into any issues or have any questions.  Those of you who aren't part of the lucky random 5% who were part of the smoke test, we just want to let you know that you'll be getting your surveys as soon as our smoke test is complete and we can confirm everything will be smooth. 

We are expecting a pretty fast turnaround so people need to complete their surveys as soon as they get them if possible, because we plan to lock and charge orders pretty quickly after surveys have been sent. We don't want to delay this phase of the campaign too much because it means that it will take longer for you guys to get your books. So basically, the sooner you all complete the surveys, the sooner you get the books! 

Those of you who have received the survey will see that we've added a few addons: aside from having the chance to purchase all my other games at a reduced price, you'll be able to purchase the Starting Crew & Exploration Sites mini-expansion! 

In this 27 pages-long PDF you'll find 6 fully fleshed Divers to recruit for your crews, or even to use as starting characters if you want to jump into the game with a group of friends without any delays. They all come with their unique background story that paints a picture of how messed up are things back on Earth, their stats and their gear, so they have everything you need! The expansion also includes 4 locations for you to explore, 2 alien Sites and 2 planets, so you can start playing without having to pre-generate anything!

Hello, everyone, I have a tiny update regarding Across a Thousand Dead Worlds: everything was submitted to Backerkit for revision and we are now waiting for their approval. As soon as that's done, the pledge manager will go live! I'll post another update when that happens (we expect it to be this week), but keep an eye on your invoice! Aside from being able to pay for shipping (which it's looking to be about $8 for the US and 16€ for Europe), you'll be able to update your shipping address and maybe grab one of the few things we added as addons. There's even a new mini expansion for ADTW! 

I also wanted to let you all know that my latest game, Under Ashen Skies, is now live on Kickstarter! If you're interested in a horror RPG with a focus on combat, survival and exploration, please check out the campaign and see if this is something you'll be interested in backing!

This update goes to the one person saying that the books don't exist. I guess AI technology has reached a point were we really can't tell but yes, the books are done, we just need to finalize the shipping details, which is, as it's always the case with these things, a lot of paperwork.

Hope you like them, I think they look gorgeous! This is mostly the Murgo edition, but you can see that the book itself is there as well, looking great. And again, no, these are not props. 

The pledge manager will be opening soon, we just need to send it for approval and wait to see what Backerkit says. I've explained this several times already but here it is once again: we didn't open the pledge manager sooner because if we do so Backerkit would force us to charge you for shipping right away. Since we didn't have the books, we couldn't possibly know how heavy they were going to be, what type of packaging we'll need, or any of those details. We do now, so we are doing everything we can to have this up and running.

Hello guys, I have a short but sweet update: the books are all done, and so are all the extras. There's just a last couple of details to wait for for the slipcases (apparently the printer we're working with can't make them so they had to go to a third party, hence the delay) but it will all be finalized next week! I am now coordinating with Leo from LF OSR (who will be the one distributing the copies in the Americas), because  we have ahead of us the always fun process of dealing with shipments, customs, and all that stuff. The books are being printed in the EU so I'll get them first and without an issue, and as soon as I do I'll start shipping.

But before we can do that, we need to collect all your addresses and shipping payments, and we are currently working on getting Backerkit ready to do so. This process should take about a week, so if everything goes as planned, next week you'll be able to do so, as well as upgrade your pledge and all that stuff you guys have been asking me about. As always, I'll let you guys know!

In case you're curious, these are the final book dimensions:

• Standard: 238x176x25mm, 1.04 kg
• Deluxe: 246x180x37mm, 1,5 kg

So yes, this is a big, thick boy! I cannot wait to have it in my hands!

In other news, Alan Bahr and I are finally ready to release Under Ashen Skies! This is the game I mentioned in my previous update. Like I said before, it will be a simple, straight to DrivethruRPG campaign, so no delays, no production hiccups. The writing's done, the layout has been started, and we will only need to wait for the art once the campaign funds. I can't tell you how excited I am about this game, since it feels like I've been working on it forever! It's something really unique, so I hope everyone loves it. Here's a spread for you!

This is a solo RPG with a strong influence from things such as Silent Hill, Hellraiser, the Orphic Mysteries and strange Gnostic ideas. If you're familiar with my previous game Seekers Beyond the Shroud, you'll get a similar vibe, just with a larger emphasis on the horror. It uses the same game engine as Across a Thousand Dead Worlds, so if you're familiar with it you'll only need to read up on the gameplay procedures before you can start playing Under Ashen Skies.

Jokes aside, I do have great news! The printer REALLY came through for us and gave us absolute priority (I think the fact that it's summer has also helped, fewer work orders), and they should be done by the end of the month! the original ETA was 2 months, so this is really good. They're sending me a proof copy now, but for now, here are a couple of photos they sent me!

So yes, for all of you who doubted we would ever get this thing done, here's the proof! I'll share some photos of the book and extras once I get my copy, but for now, this will do!

This means that we will open the pledge manager very soon, and start charging for shipping. Those of you who want to upgrade from PDF to physical will have the chance to do so as well. 

I'm so excited about this, I cannot wait to have the book in my hands!
